Sustainability will become an increasingly important consideration in many projects. In my experience, there is a deal of complexity in delivering sustainable projects and services. It's not as easy as it may look at first glance. There is often a premium for sustainability, which may cause it to be sidelined if budgetary pressure comes to bear on the project. Not to say that it shouldn't move up the priority list for project managers - time, cost, quality and sustainability.
