Evening all,

I've recently bought myself a PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course with the view to backing up some on-the-job experience and moving into a more structured PM career. I was looking for some advice and read your helpful threads on requirements and which courses to choose, so was very happy to have my PRINCE2 choice confirmed! :)

My need for information is in where to look for PM roles as the regular job boards seem to be limited. Secondly, I'm fairly senior in my career and already earning more than £70k and appreciate that basic PM roles are only paying around the £40k mark. So I wondered whether anyone could advise whether 20+ years on-the-job experience is considered valuable when you have only recently passed a formal exam in a recognised PM methodology?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I'm bumping this up as the response would also be relevant to me.
