Good afternoon,

I am new to this site and after some assistance. It is another one of those which is the correct course for me posts.

Does anyone on here have experience within the defence sector? I have the opportunity to do PM in defence once I have got a PM qualification. My dilemma is that one section has said that PRINCE2 is fine, and someone else has said that I need to do APMP. Their reason for APMP is that commercial industry is favouring APMP over PRINCE2 so I was wondering if I had PRINCE2 would I not get considered for the role.

I was looking at PRINCE2 first due to the difference in cost, but I don't want to the PRINCE2 course and then have to do APMP as PRINCE2 is not accepted.

You can try with APMP as it is trending in the PM sector.
