Could anyone please advise what SharePoint Site is all about in PMO. I also need advise/recommendations on the appropriate tools to migrate documents into project library. Urgent response would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
Microsoft Sharepoint is essentially a browser-based platform for document management and collaboration. It allows you to store documents (much like the "My Documents" area of your PC), with some added functionality such as version control and tracked changes, important for management of Project documentation.
It also allows other functionality such as website creation, search, Business Intelligence, and Business Process Management (I'm not as familiar with these so can't comment).
