Hi All,

Has anyone worked on a white label solution before. Requirement through to development and testing. I need to know how testing was handled most especially when trying to test from a partner perspective. Thank you.

I've led TRIRIGA IWMS (integrated workplace management software) implementations in the past. The software was always TRIRIGAs but out of the box it was a fairly generic product. We would understand the client's business processes and build requirements and an FDD...and eventually a TDD and then design and develop the product from there. We would rebrand it to look like it was, say, a US Airways (one of my customer implementations) software solution to all the users within the US Airways organization. But testing - UAT - as still normal UAT from a testing perspective. It was based on their business processes, their end user needs, their test cases and test scenarios, and their requirements.

Hello Begeland
Thanks for your response. Useful approach. That is exactly the white label approach. It's my first time working on a white label solution. So I will see how the test process goes using some ideas from yours.
Jay.
