Help: Need to Write a Business Case to Group Head, HR as an Application For Deployment to PMO/PM Related Units

Dear all,

I am a civil engineering graduate who is passionate about a project management career and have volunteered on several projects. I recently became PMI certified (PMP & CAPM) with CompTIA IT Project + and since then I have been approaching people in my organization to assess the possibility of working on a project or in a project role, trust me it has not been easy because I presently work for a commercial bank in Nigeria (Operations).

However, a friend of mine in HR suggested I do a business case to the Group Head, Human Resources justifying why I should be redeployed to either PMO or a project related role in the Bank.

I have come up and discarded several write ups because I am really confused and I really want to make good use of this chance. I really need advice on how to go about it, especially from whoever might have done something close to this before.

Kindly note that a lot of transformation projects are currently going on bank wide and I would love to be part of this challenge.
