I'm new to the structured world of PRINCE2 project management.
I've been working in the background on a project for a few weeks, but only now are we about to have our first board meeting (PRINCE2), I was wondering what should I present? The PID, or fill out a special board meeting template (seems obvious but the board meeting template looks like it only refers to the details of an end of stage meeting) and the PID information was distributed to interested party sometime ago.

Okay so I've found they want me to present in a board meeting template, only thing that's strange is it will be a full rehash of my information from my project kickoff meeting. Following the Prince2 so rigidly is not making much sense to me yet.
My input is that board are likely to want to know the below:
- When are key delvierables going to be delivered?
- When are funds needed for each stage?
- When are resources needed and what type?
- When will the project start/finish
Avoid going into mass detail as board level people are unlikely to want to know the granular details. I would also say to distribute any info you will discuss in the meeting prior to it.
