Hi All,

I find a lot of PM articles and techniques/processes are focused on managing a project from the customers viewpoint, not the suppliers. But what if you are managing a pre-sold (fixed scope) project that has been sold to a customer? The solution sold included supplier project management and that is your remit. Where you would start with the planning and what techniques would you use?

Projects of this nature 'skip' the concept phase as the project scope has been fixed and sold to the customer already. Your role as the PM is to deliver it, so you start at the planning phase.

Does anyone have any advice for managing pre-sold (fixed scope) projects?

Thanks,
Kit
