It's difficult to step into a project management role straight after graduating. I'd suggest finding yourself a position in a company and going from there.

A few things you can look at are:
  1. Apprenticeship programmes: a real job with training. You learn while you work to gain a recognised qualification. Apprenticeships last between one and four years. The benefit is that you get the skills employers want while earning.
  2. Graduate schemes: many companies run leadership programmes for recruiting future talent. The aim is to develop the skills and expertise needed for a future management role in the business.
  3. Internships: This gives you valuable hands-on experience, so vital when trying to break into the world of work. An internship provides a valuable addition to your CV. Placements last from a few weeks to a year.
All of these routes offer good development opportunities and a way into the world of work.

Hope this helps.
