I don't know if others experience this, but every time I go to a project meeting where a website design is shown, everyone in the room suddenly turns into a graphic designer. They've all got an opinion and pull apart the work the designer (who has most likely been to art college) has done.
Why bother employing a graphic designer in the first place if everyone else can do better?
End of rant.

Just because you think you have the ability to think like a designer doesnt mean you have..... Have you overdosed on some ideo crap. Everyone can design but what is good design and what is bad..... You're not the first person to think like that and unfortunately you will not be the last. After all Ignorance is bliss... as long as you're happy enjoy.
With almost everybody having access to internet, one can gain some knowledge about designs. But designers are experts in their trade. They have spent countless hours studying the design intricacies, reviewing fonts, typography and other finer nuances. Definitely they have the better knowledge. But sometimes others can give some great ideas even if they have superficial knowledge of things and are commenting for the sake of it. And everybody wants to express nowadays. But you need to take their opinions sportingly rather than feeling aguished.
