Hi All,

I am looking at purchasing a copy of the ye olde PMI PMBoK Book. I am thinking about purchasing the 5th edition as the price is a lot less than the newly released 6th edition.

Is there much difference between the 5th edition and the 6th edition?

Hi there,

If you sign up with PMI? you do get access to a number of books. The PMBOK Guide, is one of them and is available in a PDF format. However, to my knowledge the 5th Edition was launched in January 2013, which makes me wonder whether the 6th Edition has really come out? Are you sure there is a 6th Edition? If so, is it possible to post the information source?

Hi Kit,

I agree with Mohamed, the 5th edition is the latest I know of. The APM Body of Knowledge has reached its 6th edition. Are you're thinking of that?

I stand corrected, I was referring to the APM BoK and not the PMI PMBoK. All is resolved now.
