The BBC's most important IT project ever has been scrapped losing a large amount of licence fee payers' money. They admit the £100m scheme was badly managed.
It will be interesting to see the lessons learned report for this project and see who called for it to be scrapped and why it had been allowed to continue since 2008 with, "little or no assets."
The BBC's Director General says an independent review had been arranged, "to find out what went wrong and what lessons can be learned."
As long as the lessons are learned on this one.
