Global Knowledge and QA for PRINCE2 Course

Hi
Looking at booking my PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner 5 day course in London. I've heard good things about Global Knowledge and QA and was wondering if anyone here had experience of using either provider?
PRINCE2® for Practitioners
PRINCE2® training courses
It seems to me to be much of a muchness as all the places follow the same structure and most have online resources available, so I was thinking the best way to go would be to use someone large where course availability would be flexible.
Thanks
Si

Hi Simon,
I've done general project management traning with QA and they were very good. They've stuck in my mind as good trainer and I would recommend them.
All the best,
Duncan

Thanks Duncan, that's really helpful. I'll be booking with QA today. They aren't the cheapest but seemed very comprehensive, and I like their focus of taking you beyond the exam and in to real practice of the methods.
As advanced reading material I've also bought myself a copy of the Sybex PRINCE2 Study Guide by Davbid Hinde. It's a very new publication, but seemed very comprehensive from the reviews I read on it, and comes with a lot of mock test resources. I'm giving myself 4 weeks to get through the book before running with the 5 day course.

Hi Simon,
Sounds like you've got yourself well organised and prepared for your course. I agree that going beyond the exam is important to look at applying PRINCE2 in the real world. There a difference between the pure academic approach and the reality of the workplace. Of course for the exam apply the method as stated in the manual. After adapt the method to work for you and your organisation. There are the PRINCE2 purists and then the people that understand their job is to deliver shippable product.
Good luck with your course!
Duncan

Hi Si,
I am also booking my P2 exams soon. I would strongly recommend buying (its only £70) Dave Littens Prince Primer. It is CBT videos of the entire syllabus. There are also free test papers. It is designed for people who are taking a lesson based course. Its really good for 70 notes!
Google it :)
