Hi

I failed by 1 point on the practitioner exam after getting the exam jitters!

I am confident I know the material and would like to resit - but not sure I can afford the exam. Can anyone tell me how much it is to do the exam only, I dont want to the course again just resit, but it seems to be £300 - £400 for the exam which I can't afford - any suggestions?

Hi there supabear, have today had a quick look on the Internet and a price of £300-£400 seems to be the going rate for this exam. I believe the price reflects the fact that it leads to a well known, professional qualification.

I am sorry to hear that you missed the pass mark by one point and hope that, when you're able to take the exam again, you pass.

I can empathise as I've been in the same situation as you are.. Lost it by just 1 mark.. such a shame.. I had taken the training course from a APMG authorised training company and I requested them to appeal on my behalf and I'm yet to hear back from APMG. In the meantime I negotiated a better price from the same company to re-appear for the exams and managed to get a discounted price ... I paid £200 only.. may be you want to try doing so...
