If you are looking for a solution or have already found a solution -- what are some of the main benefits you look for?

For me, the most important attributes are:
  • Ability to collaborate and share with team members
  • Support of Agile project management practices
  • Easy of use (team members should be able to use the tool with minimal training)
  • Clear allocation of tasks and actions
  • Ability to easily show stakeholders planning and progress
I find a lot of tools focus on flashy graphs and charts. I prefer to ask whether my team know what I expect of them, know what the project objectives are, know where we are going and are aware of their current priorities.

We achieve benefits when a tool can bring the project team together and help them achieve goals and objectives by more efficient collaboration and communication.
