Hello All,

Can you give me advice if you have had similar experience.

After putting an RFP on the street our team only received three proposals when we were looking to evaluate at least six to eight. Is there anything we could've done on or before the proposal due date deadline?

Thank you for any tips or advice for future projects!

By putting the RFP "on the street," I take it to mean you've advertised it in the appropriate journals, websites, or publications. We do the same on our project, but we also actively approach qualified firms that we'd like to bid. We direct them to our website, where the RFP is available, and encourage them to review it and (preferably) bid on the work. We usually double the number of proposals and quotes we receive by doing this.
