Hi, Marketing has played a major part in my business studies electorate modules and almost every aspect of modern-day marketing can be enhanced by the application of good project management.

This book, 'The Marketing Book' by Professor Michael J Baker was required reading at Westminster University. This book is a brilliant introduction to all aspects of the marketing profession. And as stated above is essential reading for any project manager who wishes to gain a clear understanding of marketing terminology, principles and practices. Having studied or even just read through the book, project managers will have at their fingertips a great source of reference material that they can rely on.

The book contains specially commissioned contributions from top UK marketing educators and writers. As a definitive handbook on marketing it sets out the scope and nature of the marketing function, its managerial applications and its contribution to corporate success. The book is crammed full of clear and concise explanations of almost every aspect of marketing with lots of illustrations, examples, tables and guidance material.

It is definitely a must for any Project Managers reference library.

Kind regards

Stephan Toth
