Hi everyone.
This sort of post has probably been put here a million times but here goes...I'm an aspiring project manager.
Having worked as a property lawyer for approx ten years, I am looking for a career change and I am interested in a career in project management. I have recently completed the Prince2 Foundation course and I am currently studying for the Practitioner level as well as the M_o_R (all self funded I might add).
I approached senior management where I currently work and advised them I was looking at project management as a career and they were extremely helpful and actually put me on an in-house course where I worked on a dummy project with senior project managers and gained experience in drafting a business case, project brief, basically the majority of the Prince2 documents. The questions I have are;
Thank you.

The questions I have are;
- Where do I go from here?
- Will it hold me back not having a PM related degree as all of my qualifications are legal based?
- Does working on a dummy project actually look ok on your CV?
- I was going to hold off sitting the Practitioner level Prince2 until I found an entry level job so I can apply the work experience to the qualification or would it be wise to sit the Practitioner exam now so I have it under my belt?
Thank you.
