Re: Pursuing Project Management Without a Degree
Hi Mayaa, You will definitely get a job a PM job without a degree; I am living proof of that assertion. I would suggest Prince2/CAPM (or APMP) is a good starting route as it shows A) theoretical PM knowledge and B) a willingness to learn the PM profession and this goes a long way for a interview. I ...

Re: New PM Video: Approaches to Risk Management
Good to hear it.
I also liked how you added your personal experiences in to emphasise points. My sentiments are that just talking about 'text book' techniques offer nothing more than what can be read in a book, for instance.

Re: New PM Video: Approaches to Risk Management
Hi Brad,
A great start to what I hope will be regular educational videos at Project Smart.
My only feedback would be maybe adding some graphics or pictures in the video to help demonstrate points being made.
Keep 'em coming!
Thanks,
Kit.

Project life cycle stages
All, How do you subdivide your project into delivery stages? Would you always have a Definition, Design, Development, Deployment framework? What rational do you use to divide the project into stages? If your WBS is focused on top-level products, then do your delivery stages have the same format? Do ...

PM Predictions for 2015
All,
Mine are...
1. More focus on PM leadership & the psychological aspect of project management, as opposed to the management itself.
2. More interviewing techniques on how to distinguish yourself in a crowded PM marketplace.
