Re: TED Talk: Simon Sinek - How great leaders inspire action

Thanks Kit. Great talk. “People don’t buy what you do, but why you do it”. Very interesting. Seems obvious now I’ve heard it, but that sums up the problem. Duncan Hi Duncan, I was talking to my manager at work about this today. Although it seems obvious when pointed out, but the point he makes tota...

Re: Top Three Project Tools

Hi Guys, For me: 1) General MS Excel - It is to versatile and widely used. If I had to run a project with one piece of software, this would be it. I use it for project schedules as some of my project team do not use MS projects. 2) RACI (RAM) - Our organization has just recently adopted this as our ...

Just to pre-empt the question 'which provider should I go with?', I would highly recommend Provtek Training (PM Channel). I have personally used them and the service was brilliant.

Re: Career move to Project Management - some questions

Hi Maya, How long have you got in your own time to study? I would say go for CAPM (beginners) or APMP (intermediate) over Prince2. Prince2 is like the Subaru Impreza of project management and doesn't stand you out from the crowd. In my opinion, APMP is achievable from scratch but do not do a classro...
